Hemolens Diagnostics® is a Polish venture that specializes in cardiac diagnostics. Our team consists of bioengineers, cardiologists, and IT professionals. Our work is about creating and developing an innovative, non-invasive method of heart disease diagnosis by using state-of-the-art software, which is likely to revolutionize the market of cardio-diagnostic tools. We are currently looking for: Senior AI Engineer
What we expect from you:
- Higher education – preferably a technical university in Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or in fields related to the company’s activity (Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, etc.)
- Professional or academic experience of 5+ years in the area of AI / ML in the field of computer vision (in particular in working with three-dimensional data – volumes, meshes, point clouds)
- Knowledge of the Python programming language (with the PyTorch library) and a low-level language, e.g. Rust, C ++
- Basic knowledge of another framework (TensorFlow, Keras, JAX)
- Knowledge of the Linux environment
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and Docker images
- Experience in training large ML models using multiple GPUs
- Adaptation of existing code or implementation of solutions based on scientific literature
- Conducting R&D work at every stage of the project life cycle, independently or as a group leader
- English language at a minimum level B2 + technical language used in the AI / ML area
- Knowledge of trends in artificial intelligence / machine learning
Nice to have:
- Interest in the biomedical area
- Experience in processing data from medical imaging or physics simulations
- Experience in working with CUDA, C#, ONNX
- Knowledge of algorithmic computer graphics and computational geometry
- Experience with Azure and AzureML
- Knowledge of issues around automation and deployment of models: Argo, Kubernetes/KubeFlow, Triton/TensorRT/TorchServe, etc.
- Experience in issuing code packages in other languages (e.g. NuGet)
- Published scientific papers or patent applications
Your tasks:
- Developing and adapting algorithms to solve problems in the field of volumetric segmentation, flow simulation, or related
- Testing and documenting the software produced and the experiments performed
- Helping in annotation and verification of data quality, cooperation with radiologists and other specialists
- Working on software according to the necessary guidelines of the medical industry
- Implementing improvements to existing solutions that automate software production
- Following scientific literature on the developed solutions
