Follow the progress of Hemolens Diagnostics
March 12, 2026
On February 20-21, 2026, the 4th Conference of the Polish Cardiac Society (Wroclaw Department) took place in Wrocław. The event gathered local physicians and leaders in cardiology and cardiac surgery, as well as specialists interested in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The two-day conference provided a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting the latest advances in cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment, including updates from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025. The program featured scientific sessions, panel discussions, and workshops.
On the first day, the Hemolens Diagnostics team conducted a two-hour hands-on workshop titled: “The Importance of Angio-CT Image Data Quality in Modern Management Planning for Patients with Stable Coronary Artery Disease – Practical Workshop on Acquisition and Analysis Optimization in the Current Regulatory Environment.”
The training participants learned, among other things, about:
In the practical session, participants analysed real clinical cases using the cloud-based tool Cardiolens Viewer®, gaining hands-on skills in interpreting cardiac computed tomography images that are useful in everyday clinical practice.
The workshop was led by Prof. Tomasz Roleder, MD, PhD – interventional cardiologist, Professor of Cardiology, and Head of the Cardiology Department at the Regional Specialist Hospital in Wrocław. He also serves as Vice-Dean for Clinical Affairs and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, WrocławUniversity of Science and Technology. An expert in intravascular imaging (OCT, IVUS, NIRS) and percutaneous coronary interventions, he is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and society recommendations, actively contributing to the advancement of modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods in coronary artery disease.
“The quality of imaging data is now a fundamental pillar of accurate clinical decision-making and patient safety. Precise Angio-CT diagnostics allow for a better understanding of coronary artery anatomy and help predict potential risks. In this context, Cardiolens Viewer® becomes an invaluable tool, enabling 3D vessel visualization, accurate stenosis analysis, and consequently supporting the planning of safe and effective treatment,” says Prof. Tomasz Roleder.
The second day of the conference was marked by an intensive exchange of knowledge and experience at the booth and during the presentations. The panel discussions began with the presentation of challenging cardiology cases in which modern imaging techniques played a key role. In the subsequent sessions, participants explored, among other topics, the complications of myocarditis and the associated cardiogenic shock, accompanied by discussions on the most effective therapeutic strategies. Overall, the day highlighted the importance of practical solutions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and modern therapies in everyday cardiology practice.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be present at the 30th International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society in Poznań on September 17–19, 2026.
